So the process of getting my tattoo has been started! I'm very excited. 
I scheduled my consultation appointment about 10 minutes ago at Slave to the Needle-- a very highly recommended (voted #1 by readers of Seattle Weekly) tattoo and piercing joint in Seattle. It's where I got my nippies pierced, and I like the way they operate.
My design: a bare, skinny tree with bent/twisting branches up the right side of my back (the VERY side, almost under my arm, on the back side of my ribcage) and then red, orange, yellow Autumn leaves blowing away from it across my side and right breast and under my breast. Not tons of leaves, just a couple to a handful, depending.
I have a perfect picture in my head, but I don't know if my description made a lot of sense. I was looking at the artist's portfolio, and knew she was perfect because of these two pieces:
Obviously no owls, though, haha. And I'd like a skinnier trunk on the tree I get. Maybe a naked chick like that, though.
It's going to be so dope. I can't wait. Autumn has been a passion for me forever-- it's very symbolic, metaphoric, and so amazingly beautiful.
What do you guys think? You like it? It fits me so perfectly.

side tattoos are pretty much awesome, and the tree having leaves blowing across your front would be pretty damn sweet too.
