today i had to all but drag myself out of bed and to class. it was just one of those days. but on the way there i saw all the people standing outside the state house protesting FOR gay marriage. i was so happy. i meen it sucks that they need to be out there at all, but i'm still happy they're doing it. supposidly they were there all night (the kids at the other dorm told me). and they are still there now. i told them all "rawk on" when i walked by going to class. on my way there and back i could hear cars honking their approval and people cheering. i wsh i has my camera because to me, it was a beautiful sight.
on a side note, suppoidly my sociology interview SUCKED SOME MAJOR ASS. so im going to try to get on my professor's good graces by doing some extra work. he told the class if anyone had a personal expierence with rascism etc. to please come talk to him because we will be studying that next. so i told him my grandmother and her sister were in auschwitz and my great grandmother died there. so now i am writing a paper on how it effected them/my family and i might have to speak to the class. i don't mind doing so at all even if it is a hard subject to talk about. i like telling others about what my family (well, half my family. my dad's family is christain and my mom's is jewish.)went through because maybe it will change some perspective they may have on things.
