went to the boy's show sunday.
they played amazing! more so than normal
however...the club wasn't running the show some promotions company was. and THEY SUCKED! all they cared about was smoking cigars and taking pictures for their website. first, they told everyone the show starts at 3pm. so here i was rushing to get up there at 2:30 on the highway running late because errands ran overtime. then the boy called and said that they weren't going to start until 4. they didnt even show up untill 3:45pm! morons. they told a bunch of bands that they would be first, then second, then third, then last. considering there were a good 15+ bands playing lots of them got sick of the shit and said "fuck this, we're not playing." my boyfriend's band included. so the owner got involved, apologized, and let them go on next.
i may not be in promotions, but i'd think it's pretty easy to make a lineup. also, start the show on time. but whatever...the show went well besides that.
i started crocheting again. i was working on a hot pink scarf for lisa in the parking lot of the venue. it was pretty funny doing that around a bunch of hardcore kids.
so yay! only a 4 day week! woo hoo! sleeping late on friday!
