Eviction has been avoided! That's technically old news at this point, but in case anyone only knows me here, yeah, the wife and I aren't homeless. I'm working on my last semester of school actually. Then on to Wisconsin! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheese.

I'd like to take a quick second to mention that the Sam Goodie in the "mall" here in MQT is closing. Not moving somewhere else, just closing shop. This sucks. One of two decent places to get music around town gone, not to mention the movies and posters and everything else that were also fun to peruse.

And the part that I will miss the most is the fact that the women who worked there actually *knew* something about the music. *NOTHING* will sell me on a music store faster than people who know what the hell I'm talking about and have some sort of constructive input. In large metro areas I'm sure this won't be an issue, but this being the U.P. people who have decent taste and usable info can be hard to find. *sigh*

I wanted to leave my email on the counter just so I could theoretically chat with them. But maybe now I'll leave my SG name instead One of the ladies was a big SG fan (roxors!)
