I'm so bummin right now. I screwed up and totally spaced paying my car insurance when they sent me the reminder to do so, and now my insurance is lapsed and I am fucked. And totally not in the good way. mASSachusetts is, contrary to popular perception, an incredibly mean state. By which I mean corrupt. Particularly the car insurance industry. It's a whole saga. Did you all know that the former head of the state university system's brother is in the mob and is on the run in Europe? Whitey Bulger is the dude's name. And the "clean" brother "doesn't know anything about it". Yeah, right.
Anyhoo, i have a call in to my insurance chickadee, who has been helpful in the past, so we'll see what the shit is. Maybe she can help me some how.
Great start to spring break, eh? Might as well do my taxes today and find out how much I owe. A crappy ending to a crappy day. Then at least I can get my final ever student aid app done for my last semester in the fall.
In other news: Today is Henrik Ibsen's birthday. Now go read.

Taxes done. Unlce Sam hates me. And I hate him, so we're all even.
FAFSA done. Uncle Sam likes me. And I like him. But not that much.
Mass. Registry hates all of its citizens. And we hate the registry.

So anyway, not only is my insurance cancelled, i find out my license is suspended!! WTF??!!! no one told me, no one knows why or when. So I am on hold to find out the details.
Ok, I'm back....
So apparentleeeeee...when I paid a speeding ticket last year (yes, I speed. frequently. I own a Saab turbo and it likes to go fast) I paid it like a week late. Which means I did not pay the late fee. So now I owe ANOTHER $170 on top of the insurance thingie.
I have no one to blame but me in this. I really have to start opening my mail more frequently. And driving slower. Now that I am a student I can't afford to keep bailing myself out on this shit.

i have never been a big eater, but i have had to work on that or i will pass the fuck out. i really focus on protein, i will usually run, haul ass to get ready and then go to work and eat a chicken breast, green beans and black beans. on my days off of work i have really worked on eating more, it really does make all the difference. one thing about smoothies and power bars that fucks me off is the fact that i hate chocolate, or anything sweet for that matter. i am a freak, i know
