I'm watching the Simpsons and boy do those old ones rock. I love the animation, the story-lines, the emotional tug. And the one-liners. Those are the best.

The one on now is when Lisa has an existential crisis then meets Bleeding Gums Murphy. They jam, she finds meaning in life through her self-expression but Marge freaks and tries to stifle her but then sees the light and ancourages Lisa's creativity. Frickin Beautiful.

They don't write the new ones like that anymore. Lisa is waaaaay too uptight now. and no fun.
