Okay, some of you will call me crazy. That's probably valid, lol. I've wanted this procedure done since I was sooo very young, though, and I am so happy to have finally gotten it.
So, I flew out to Pittsburgh to meet my artist. I got off the plane, and less than 30 minutes later I was in the studio discussing aftercare and procedure. He was so very kind and respectful of my anxieties, and that was important to me. Any of you who know me well know I struggle with anxiety a lot, so this experience definitely had me shaking!
Fortunately, my artist was experienced and knew how to relax me and talk me down! I was so scared I may have flew out there just to chicken out! But, I made it!
I spent the night out there at a nice little Airbnb, and flew home early today! I arrived at 3pm, and came home to rest up!
I will say, this is definitely not a mod for the faint of heart, although you don't feel much, the nerves are intense and the healing process is a bitch! I'm only on day 2 and I've been in bed, on liquid diet, tired, and taking ibuprofen like it's selling out! Also, can't speak so I won't be on live for about a week!
Anywho, I am very excited to share more pics with you all as the healing goes, and to be home safe <3
