Hi 
Ok, I know, it's been ages
Life's been a little hectic and I haven't had much time to spend online at all lately. I started back on evening shift (hurray!) and oh, my God are there some lunatics living in my city. Just last night, I took 63 phone calls, bonded 13 people out of jail, wrote 7 reports (I was 3 behind when I got to work, and I was 5 behind when I left...I am never going to catch up), entered 5 towed cars into the state's computer system, recovered 2 runaway kids, set up reports for two officers...and I know that means nothing to you, but believe me when I say that is one fucking busy shift.
And there's a new guy lingering on the edge of my life. Don't think it'll go anywhere serious--he's awfully young --but he's sweet and oh, so very cute. I'm really enjoying having him around 
Yet I spent Saturday night after work with Joe. Man, no wonder my romantic life is fucked up...make a decision and stick to it, girl!
In other news...my friend Angie bought her first house, so I'll probably end up as part of the moving party (ooh, joy). Deanna lost her job and is in no hurry to find a new one. Also she's figuring out the truth (again) about her relationship with her sister, and both of those things mean that she and I have been spending more time together than usual. It's nice--I've missed her a lot in the last couple of years
Also BTE is playing a show in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 1. I'm excited about that for a few reasons...and someone out there knows what one of them is, mickster

I was hopeful. I thought "Hey, this movie can't be as stupid as the previews make it seem" I mean it has it's own cult following so I thought it was some sort of subtle, subversive comedy. Um...no. Actually, the previews don't do the stupidity on this movie justice.
Oh well. Live and learn I suppose.
