What a lovely lazy day I'm having. I mentioned the IwtV movie last night and watched a HORRIBLY edited for TV version of it this afternoon. Then there was the sex, but we won't talk about that part, k?

20 Random Facts
1. Although I've had set-in-stone ideas for two different tattoos (and where I'd put them) for over 10 years, I have no real plans of getting either of them done, because I'm absolutely terrified of needles.
2. Id rather take a road trip than fly in a plane, unless its a very small plane.
3. When I was in 7th grade, I wrote all of my older sister's 10th grade book reports. Years later when I had the same teacher, I confessed. That was the first time I read Gone With the Wind, and I cried in Mr. Beebe's science class when Melanie died.
4. I broke my left arm when I was 11. I was sled-riding in the dark and hit a small tree tied to a large iron pole. The tree bent, but the pole did not.
5. I like to surprise my neighbors with little gifts, but they never know where the gifts come from, and I always deny knowing anything about it.
6. One of my best friends and I have only spent 10 days together in the 11 years that we've known each other.
7. I've only found one brand of beer of which I actually liked the taste. Less than 3 months after I discovered it, the 100 year old brewery shut down.
8. I cant stand seafood but I love a good steak.
9. I love to cook, but none of my best dishes have recipes.
10. When I was 17, I entered a photography contest against 400 other people. Everyone was allowed to enter up to 3 photos. I won two of the four prizes--first place and honorable mention.
11. My favorite number is 8 and my favorite color is black.
12. I'm such a food geek, I stood in line for over 4 hours to spend 15 seconds talking to Emeril Lagasse. I have a postcard from his restaurant NOLA framed and hanging in my kitchen, and my most requested recipe is based on something out of his New New Orleans Cooking cookbook.
13. My friend Greg's grandmother thinks he and I have been having an affair for the last 7 years--she doesn't know he's gay. She thinks he moved to Kansas City to be with me instead of moving back home.
14. I told a vice president of Universal Records that I couldn't tolerate one of their artists--right after he told me that he'd discovered that artist and was responsible for giving him a contract. He bought me a drink for being honest.
15. My first paying job was as Scorekeeper for a co-ed softball league, where I made 5 dollars a game.
16. My toenails are always painted. I feel naked if they're not. Right now they're metallic purple.
17. Every time I have blood drawn, I pass out.
18. My dream jobs: pastry chef, interior decorator, or radio DJ.
19. I'm allergic to pot. Even just the smell of it gives me a horrible headache.
20. When the singer from my favorite band serenaded me with a cover of Beck's Debra, I blushed like a schoolgirl and got a mention in the Street Serenade.
