I saw someone asked for testimonials to be posted. Testimonial eh? The pressure. I just keep picturing the folks who stood at the front of the sanctuary when I was a kid. "Fraid I can't give that kind-o testimony.
Speaking of church, last night at dinner, my liberal friends and I discussed my status as the damned soul in my ultra-fundamentalist family.
About 20 minutes later, I was explaining my name to our server, "...Channon, not Shannon. C-h...," to no avail. When I resorted to "Channon as in church," my friends piped in with "...or not," and started laughing. 
Pretty funny. A little embarrassing.
I am back on the exercise wagon. A gym offered $19 membership to employees at work.
With personal trainers. I signed up about a week ago, before my post-surgery restrictions ended (Monday). The first session hurt, but I feel much stronger now. And it is great to be lifting again. Now if I could just learn to love cardio. 
fyrestarter and I are going to see 311 Friday. WooHoo!! I am so excited.
Still living in 2 towns. It is kinda cool, but never know where I put things! Like, um, the 311 tickets!!!

haha, I somehow clicked you without realizing who it was and started reading your journal. I was thinking to myself, I know of somebody with the name channon. And then I was surprised when I saw fyrestarter in it, I was like, wow! what a coincidence. I'm an idiot sometimes.
