Just found out tonight, that my little brother will be headed out to Ramstein, Germany for 3!! years for the US AF.
He's coming home from TX in a couple of weeks and says he should be here thru halloween. Then he leaves from here to Baltimore and then on to Germany.
FOR THREE EFFIN YEARS! I know he'll be home to visit once in a great while and shit... but! 3 flippin years?!?!?! And I have this terrible feeling that now him and his girlfriend will really get married. She's cool and everything... but I don't think they should be getting married! Especially cuz they're only 19.

I was in the AF myself. A lot of guys that just get into the service get married because they will get extra pay and a place for him and the wife. If he didn't get married he would have to share a room with a other guy. I really don't think he will spend the whole 3 years in germany unless he wants too.
