yesterday after my long bike ride the clouds grew in the distance, but we only got a sprinkle....
TEXAS NEEDS RAIN!
even more so south of the Brazos .
the bike ride was good though. stopped at a landmark restaurant called FRED's.
Shared a chicken fried stake with my favorite man creature
and drank a Lone Star.
for dinner that night, i made this crazy white squash stuffing and at it with raspberry vinaigrette, spinach and fresh tomatoes from my garden, aren't they so little and cute?
for some reason it was one of the best meals ever.... people were still talking bout it over lunch today...it seems impromptu meals always end up that way.
i've been working on some silly illustrations for our book club *cough* i mean Book Gang..
the librarian and the english teachers seem to think they want to be more hard core...
yea.... real hardcore as you can see... HAH
oh! and lastly i bestow this high wisdom to you, from a fortune cookie of corse!
