it's really a shame that there is so much bullshit involved with this site.
some of the girls are wonderful, charming, creative, beautiful people worth knowing and keeping in touch with. but the folks in charge keep giving lots of people reasons to leave this site, and to spread the word that it's generally full of shit.
from the hidden-man-in-charge stories, the restrictions and other problems with model's contracts, photos being sold to other sites via third parties, and the booting of numerous models and members, to the censorship being played out in blogs and threads...it's all added up to a pile of crap. it's taken the fun out of this site and made a lot of people realize how the business is really run and what's most important to those who run it.
i recently started a thread asking other members to share with me the names of some other sites that don't require models to show their nipples. and i received a warning (ooh,,,i'm scared) that the thread had been deleted and that "It is not ok to discuss potentially competing sites on SG."
it's not ok to discuss them? you can't even talk about other sites that show naked girls? or is it just that you can't endorse them? i get the feeling that if i was saying something negative about a "potentially competing site" it wouldn't be such a big deal.
i'm pretty sure i'll have my little membership card revoked sometime soon. but i don't paricularly care. for those friends that i have made on this site, we can keep in touch via myspace or email. i'm just not that interested in participating on a site whose practices i have little to no respect for.

If you were served an unpleasant pint or were charged more for your beer than in a nearby bar you would probably put it down, Write off the loss, leave and find somewhere more to your tastes. You'd just chalk it up to experiance. I cant imagine you'd stand at that bar and scream about how unhappy you were to the other customers which is what your comments on the boards are akin to.
Ive been on this site for some time. I have some aspects to it I odnt particuarly savour but overall Ive made some amazing friends and seen beautiful women nude. Ive tried opening accounts at 2 rivals sites which if you are interested I will divulge privately but found them both to be inferior copies. This is why I stay.
Oh, the reason I stopped by initially was I was curious which sets hadnt featured nipples. I must have missed them. Would you stop by my journal and let me know.
