is anyone else appalled by what passes for a set on here sometimes?
to be fair, there are a lot of amazing sets up. the pins and needles set from disco and akemi is adorable. a great idea, and done so well. annalee's bone puppy set is a nice twist on a beautiful girl in a beautiful setting. there's undeniably some really wonderful work here.
but every now and then i actually get pissed off by what i see posted. i'm not naming names, but one recent set featured a rather plain woman who had apparently neglected to put on any makeup or comb her hair, and the majority of the photos were badly out of focus. it had me wondering for a mintute who this lady must've paid off to be accepted. but then it dawned on me: she shows nipple and bush. this is far from the first time i've seen a terrible set go up that i can only imagine would be posted because the girl shows all. and that doesn't sit well with me.
the general feeling that i get is this: you don't have to be hot, or unique, or have any tattoos or peircings. you don't have to dye your hair or have a sense of style. your set doesn't need an original setting or plot. hell, your photos don't have to be artistic or even in focus! but show your slit and you're in. well, that's just fucking retarded.
i've said it before and i'll say it again. i refuse to show 100% of my goods. but the 98% that i do show beats a lot of the disappointing shit i've seen here.

and i'm not even that cool.
