I woke up this morning and decided to go to Mexico for the weekend with my lovely Rin...plans were made and all but confirmed when I got a phone call from another friend whose 21st birthday is Saturday. She had been scheduled to work but someone offered to cover her shift at the last minute...This means no Mexico for me as now I have to be here to take part in the celebratory drunken stupor 
although I am fond of drunken stupors I would have prefered for them to have occured in Mexico this time around.
This little situation has served to remind me of what a selfish bitch I can be though. I should be happy that she got her special day off and now I get to celebrate it with her, but instead I am only concerned with the immediate consequences it had on my little excursion.
Although the aforementioned has managed to put a damper on my weekend there are a few things keeping me smiling
1. I met a very interesting person who can actually hold an intelligent conversation. A person whose ideas and opinions are clearly developed, perfectly articulated, and genuinely interesting.
2. Nine Inch Nails is only 55 days away!!!
3. TheRuiner has promised me new photos
Well any kiddies in the Tampa area who feel like going out this weekend let me know..you can come out and help facilitate my friend getting so wrecked she can't move. Fun stuff!
