Work has been crazy busy. It makes me happy I'm commissioned, but still incredibly tired. We had a celebrity makeup artist in on Thursday, and had made a shit ton of appointments for our clients to see him.

I ended the day with the highest, second highest, and third highest sales of the day. One woman bought $1,645.00 of product. Talk about a nice little bonus. I love my clients.

My sleep pattern is really odd lately, where I fall asleep around 9 PM, wake up around 11 PM, and then fall back to sleep around 3-4 AM. And then I get up for work at around 7 AM, generally.

As you can tell, I've been obsessing a bit over Andrew Bird. I am so enthralled by his musicianship and poetry, the cadence, and the extreme use of rhyme for rhyme's sake. The anaphora really reminds me of my own writing style, as well.

I am looking forward to my vacation.

Depending on how large my next pay check is, I'd really love to expand upon the art on my arm. Then I can continue putting money aside for el musico festivalio.

Well, this was my first time! I went with a buddy in my lab here who's very into fishing of all sort - I did it a lot as a kid but have lost track of my small tacklebox, don't own a rod yet, etc. I was like "trout? I've never used a fly rod." We used bobbers and worms... and it worked great. I couldn't believe it. We each caught 3 or 4 over the course of a few hours, not exactly going crazy but certainly enough to make it fun. The stream we were on wouldn't have allowed flies anyway, which also meant it doesn't get too much fishin' pressure.
