So.
Right now, I have the taste of cheap gin on my tongue, traduction:
Je bois plus que ncessaire
Oui.
I have a friend who I'm going to stay with in Ireland this summer. And THAT I'm happy for.
I'm staying with my friend Shiva, whom I've never met. She lives in CT at the moment. She's been all over the world.
And my friend Dave Keane, who is actually my best friend, though I've never met him, either. That's the craziest thing. He lives in Manchester. Sale, actually, right on the outskirts. He's staying with me, too. We're going to travel the world. And it's for sure, ha, I'm not just being hopeful =P
We met through the lonely planet Thorntree forum, and have spoken every day since, about six months ago. We talked the other day, about how we don't talk with our in-area friends as much as we speak to each other, and how no one really knows as much about each other as we do. It's crazy. I'm excited =)
But how wierd is it that I haven't really met these people? Sure, I talk with Dave over the phone all the time (long distance to the UK really isn't that much), but really. It's crazy. Well fuck, maybe that's why I love it
We're going. We're going travelling, and we're not sure where we'll end up. We're not sure of anything, in fact. Actually, I'm pretty sure that most of our nights will end up in a crazy state, ending in "Hey, we're not from around here, can we crash on your floor tonight?" And that's what I'm most excited for.
So soon <3
