My usual vacation spot away from optimism, had me this year with a bent coat hanger burning a frank over a hot plate in a cold water flat. Forgotten, or tossed out of my mind, or filed in a folder marked denial the invitation to the ninth annual block party. Summer comes.
Everyone came, even the fire truck.
