Once there was a guy and a guitar. Or a guy and a dog with a bandana. Or a guy and a girl with a full circle skirt. Now there is a machine.
City Hall has engineered the situation. The poor beggars were too aggressive. They were replaced. A machine will now take your donations. And forward to the general revenue of a charitable organization. A kind and gentle solution that in addition is democratic.
City Hall cancelled the fireworks this evening. Canada Day. The nation's birthday. Security and safety were added to the budget troubles. The end result, the end of something of a tradition. Little concern. It's little concern, I worked hard the last few weeks. A quiet night at home. Sleep. Dream.
I had worked untill early morning. Replaced a Cisco MGX 8800 Series Switch circuit card. A card the size of a party pizza box. Pushed into the face of the machine. Sniggered to myself. Inside there's a party going on.
