Miles fixed my computer. I call it now the "geek scope". Best of friends from high school. Miles works with some nuclear stuff.

The boys rocked the plaza.
Miles called. "Hey, where are you right now."
Didn't want to tell. "Downtown. Why?"
Mary at the Emergency of St. Joe's. Just dropped her off. She was shaken. Repeated on the ride " Oh, thank goodness this didn't happen an hour later." Traffic was thick. Got her there.
Senior technician Steve S. had a heart attack in the elevator down. Mary found him there. The last thing on a Friday afternoon. Ambulance came and left as quickly.
Miles says. "Steve is standing across the plaza."
Miles meant Steve W standing across the plaza. Startled, it all came clear. A day before Steve W mentioned the show. And I got there as the band hit the stage.
The kids came running over. "Did you watch K-PAX?" Above the din. "Did you watch K-PAX?" Friends kid Candle. Spitfire. Her sister, Coral gave a little wave from off stage.
Looked her in the eye. "No."
And it hit me. She was wearing a little eye makeup.
Man! They grow up fast. I mimed pulling the pencil from my shirt pocket and jamming it into my eye. They liked that.
