Time to mention.
Sheriff's Office called. I am excused from Jury Duty. That's too bad. I was looking forward to it. A lesson in civics. Be part of a bigger thing.
The last time was interesting. Sexual assult. Entreat the voyeur. A certain appeal. Yet, not too real. It is someone else revealed.
Object or abject one might. It's Canada. One can't. In silly robes any question can be asked. It's true that truth can stand all tests. And you are there, as the judge instructs, to judge the evidence. The judge is there to judge the law.
The smarty pants foreman of the jury went to the library and took out books. Among others a book on sexual assult. Truth. We all were kicked. Too bad. After four days, the show was just getting good.
