Unseen when I took the shot with my brand new HTC1. My attention was on the odd-looking moon. I was walking to the shops to get beer, if I remember correctly.👍😄

One of my all time favourite movies. Directed by Robert Fuest, who also worked on the wonderfully odd TV series 'The Avengers'. It shows. And it stars the great Vincent Price, who enjoyed making it immensely. It shows. It is great macabre fun. If you have never seen it, I urge you to. And the sequel is excellent, as well.

So do I - but some of them were so po - faced, they need a boot in the toches. I hate physically defacing books - I'll never be as good at it as Joe Orton & Kenneth Halliwell were, but the computer, used after a few drinks, and malice aforethought, can do it virtually. This cover just cried out to me. I'm searching for one so that I can use Mr. McCloud's "Half a million pound hole" quote, which, oddly enough, you can get as a t-shirt.

I think it's a work of genius. The confrontation in the library is very dark and frightening indeed.

This shot haunted me for years as a kid, after seeing it in a book. I was really disappointed, many years later, on watching the quite brilliant movie, that the glowing eye effect was not actually used. Makes for a superb promo picture, though.
