Just when we needed it, Joel Ward came through big! The team's first hat trick of the season went to Joel Ward on Saturday and the crowd at SAP Center couldn't have been more pumped. Being in the middle of a hat rain shower is always so much fun. There isn't a much better feeling than when your team is breaking through a rough streak with a good game and everyone is having a great time. Hopefully Hertl can continue to improve as Couture's replacement while he's out, and he get some chemistry going. Too many injuries thus far, but getting Paul Martin back did wonders for our defense. When we get Joonas Donskoi back our lines will balance back out a bit. Then when Melker Karlsson finishes his rehab and can make his season debut in a few weeks, we should be rolling by then. Man I love hockey season!
Concert season is starting up here too, and I'll be hitting up my first show in a while tomorrow night. My boy and I are heading up to San Francisco to see Seaway and KNUCKLE PUCK! I'm so stoked to see Knuckle Puck again. They put out such an amazing album, they've become one of my favorite bands currently. So, some exciting times!
