Now work ends on Tuesday. Whatever. As there isn't a lot of work this time of year my boss has had me doing work around the yard where we keep the trucks and equipment and shit. So, I've been doing real work. We had to clean out this fenced in area, and then me and another guy who is also not a carpenter, and who has also never built a fence had to build another smaller fenced in area. It came out pretty well I guess. And lucky for us someone who actually know something about building stuff came along when we were hanging the gate, which was good, because it would have been pretty lousy if we had done it ourselves. Fuck this is a boring post isn't it? No one cares about me building a fence. The only thing that was even interesting to me was the fact that an 8 foot section of stockade fence costs about $45from the local lumber yards. In a normal place, like the Home Depot about an hour from here, it would cost about $24 for the same exact thing. We are basically paying twenty bucks for the privilege of buying a fence in the Hamptons. Fucking place. . .
