hey i went to my college interview thingy,
it was interesting.
i think thats the best way to describe it anyways. the place is amazing as its all brand spanking new the building is kinda cool but the fact it has a large outside deck area with fountains and shit next to the library and an operating theatre was quite impressive. the course i wanna do is multimedia design, doing this i get my own workstation with my own g5 mac, i get to put up posters or stickers etc in my own space. my form room has leather sofas and plasma screen tvs so we feel comfortable while we learn i get my own 300 chair to have at my workstation, the idea apparently is to make it like an office environment so its like being at work. this is the building im on the 4th floor dead centre.
the interview was strange.....i didnt really have one, he just told me i was cool, and looked perfect for the course, he said my sketchbook was good and that i had fucking awesome tattoos. then gave me a place. then took me to the bar brought me a beer and we chatted about tattoos, artists we like, websites and design companys we think are cool, we both share a love for the donnie darko website you should check it out, its cool.
erm well that was about it. i got on really really really well with the tutor id have so thats great, im really looking forward to starting now, i think ill do so much better and benefit loads just because i gt on well wwith the teacher, not like teachers pet thing but cos he understands me and i know he will give me some great encouragement. whoooooo im sooo excited.
