hmmm, i had a chat with my boss yesterday about my attitude as assistant manager. i am one lazy fucker and so this wont do in my position.....so i have been waiting for the chat for a while so i wasnt surprised i was however surprised about the general conversation.......not only was i told i was lazy which i can agree with ....... i was told that it was my fault all the other staff were not doing their jobs.....why....because i go out and gett drunk with them. yes that was the reason.....
infact ill write the conversation in script form.
Boss- its your fault the team are shit lately.
Me- how do you work that out??
Boss- because you spend too much time out of work with them, getting drunk, they are all your friends and thats no good, they have no respect for friends.
Me- what you on about!!
thats a load of bollocks , so your saying me going out with my friends is the reason as a store we dont do targets, or get good conversion.
Boss- Yes, i can say that everything wrong with the shop at the moment is all you fault, single handedly your fault, because of your social life....
Me- so what you saying, i cant be friends with the staff??
Boss- Yes, you have two choices, leave and be thier m8s, or fix up dont get pally pally with the staff and do your job properly.
Me- hmmm, i think thats a load of utter bullshit. you cant stop me being friends with staff. ill be friends with who i like .
Boss- im not saying dont be friends with them, just dont see them outside of work, or get drunk with them, and make sure you tell them what to do so they know your their boss and not their friend.

Boss- thats the choice...so make it, but you know you aint going to loose your job over some people you go out with.
Me- WRONG you have just made yourself look a total prick, i cant believe you expect me to take the blame for your store being in the shitty state its in, i aint being your scapegoat. and as for telling me who i can be friends with hows about you suck my dick......(removes shop keys from pocket and throws them onto the shelf in the office)
Boss- (looks surprised and worried) oh, well i need your notice tomorow, you need to work a week.
Me- (flipage of finger) .......(leaves)
about 5 mins walk down the mall my phone rings and its work....
Me- Hello
Boss- you need to come back into store cos we need to chat about this properly.im willing to forget what you just did if you come and talk it over.
Me- whatever
i return to work.....
Boss- are you sure you want to leave over some friends.
Me- thats not why im leaving....im going back to college in sept anyways so i was leaving in a month or 2 anyway, also i dont think you have any rights to tell me that i cant be friends with people from work, and i know i hate my job so i aint gonna get any better for you so fuck it ill go get another job....ill bring my notice tomorow...how long do i need to work.?
Boss- one weeks notice but ill give it you as holiday, so you can leave today and still be paid.
Me- OK, Bye
and thats it.......
2 years ive worked there and i got told i couldnt be friends with the staff and that i didnt even need to work my notice. wankers....
oh well on wth the job search.
