I'm convinced our apartment is haunted.

Tommy has a toy guitar. It's one of those things that is touch-sensitive, and has no "off" button.

Anyway, last night, I'm laying in bed and the thing starts playing! And not just one note or anything - like, the whole song! I picked it up and wiped it down because I thought maybe there was just some moisture on it or something. But then a few minutes later, it continues to play. Then I thought, maybe a spider or a breeze is making it play. So I moved it on top of my desk.

Suddenly, it starts playing again while I'm standing right in front of it! eeek I woke Meaney up, because I was genuinely scared. Like, almost in tears, scared. It even started playing while I was trying to wake him up. But he was no help at all. So I put the guitar next to him, closed the door, and slept in the living room.

To add to the creepiness..every time I picked it up, it felt really cold. And not just cold to the touch, but it was like a draft was coming from it. surreal

No joke, I am terrified of that guitar.

LOL. That is all...

And yeah, first the plan was I was going back to work when Calvin was 2 months old, then it was 4 then I decided to stay home a year because no one does that anymore these days. My mom also said she regretted not being able to stay home with us when we were babies. So here I am, about to become a productive member of society again and I don't wanna go back to work. frown Calvin will be one next month. but with all the money i'll have I can buy him more cool stuff. (I'll be doubling our income too.) -Gina

...also, Calvin has a few toys that play on their own... My suggestion would be to just take the batteries out until the kid wants to play. Or start buying toys with an on/off switch or volume control.
