I know I am!
It sure is easier to get online and type away at strangers I'll never meet than to actually get up in the morning and leave the house in search of eye contact. hat never seems to work until I'm drunk.
Sure, I can contort my face at work until it looks like I'm smiling and actually give a shit how your day is, but that's just whoring out my facade.
There must be some reason I need sunglasses on cloudy days. I always get a little sad when it gets too dark to wear them anymore, but then I remember that the world looks pretty similar through a beer bottle.
Don't get me wrong, I can (and do) go days without drinking, I just do it alone in my house.
The cat doesn't seem to bother me.
That's probably because she makes it obvious what she wants from me with no hesitation or posturing. If she wants love, food, water, exercise, the door opened, that fly swatted, these people gone, she makes her opinion known with the utmost brevity and clarity.
Would but I could do that.
I'd probably have far less drinking buddies, and I can't see how that could possibly be a bad thing.

Tomorrow will be yesterday before you know it. Do something meaningful.
