In 2 to 6 weeks!!!
They're turning it into offices and a jazz club, which might be cool if they keep the pool tables, but I doubt it. This not only leaves me with nowhere to play pool on a full-size table, it's putting six of my friends out of a job.
Also, my boss cut me back a day without warning.
On a positive note, I got a really cool sidebag from Crazy Jack's Army Surplus for 10 bucks.
I went to the Jinx last night, and it was a nightmarish hipster explosion! I almost got in a fight with some prick who accidentally knocked my friend in her teeth, then refused to apologize. Asshole. Also, we hit a guy with a firend's car while another friend was driving. We jumped out and ran back to discover it was none other than Bobo Banjo!! (a friend of mine/banjo-playing bum) He was ok, just very drunk, and we left him in the capable hands of a friendly hippie who was wandering by. A strange night.
If anyones wants to visit me in Savannah, I promise to stuff you full of liquor and vegan grilled cheeses.
Speaking of Savannah, i submitted SGSavannah a week ago and have heard nothing back. Anyone know how long it takes to approve a group? I wouldn't think they would reject a regional group........
We shall see.
