Why is it that a paycheque never seems to seem like enough to cover all the bases and then some, even when you are making significantly more?

The job is going well, I like going into work, and I can see myself there for a long time. Its quite a small office, too, only about 10 people including myself, so that's also a plus.

Maybe soon I will have more time to devote here! But I hope everyone is well in the meantime.
