An update, finally....
Christmas was great. I had a lot of fun, and I finally got to give Joe his long-awaited present.
New Year's was even better. We went to a house party, and it was like a high school reunion. Nearly everyone was there. It's cool to think of what people have done with themselves since - most are in university, one is living in Australia, and another is travelling the world on a boat. I also finally got to see Joanna, and her boyfriend. I got pretty drunk, and laughed a lot, and sang some.
My only beef about the last two weeks is that it was supposed to be my break, but I ended up only having 3 days off work, and that included the 2 days the store was closed anyway. Makes me mad, but it just means I'll take lots of time off during the summer.
Which reminds me - I want to go away this summer. To a beach. But I need it to be fairly close to the GTA. Not too close, but close enough to drive to in a day. Anyone know of anywhere? And by the way, I hated Wasaga Beach.
So yeah, I discovered ebay this week. I'm fucking addicted. I've already bought 2 books, and my only problem is paypal. I was always under the impression that I could just send money to someone using my credit card. But no, I need to either transfer money from my bank account, which takes about 8 days, or I need to sign up for an expanded account and wait for a number, which takes about 4 days. Business days, at that, because, you know, banks are the ultimate slackers.
I'm also going to darkrave tomorrow, and I even bought a new outfit for it. I'm a shopping whore, I think.
It doesn't feel like school is about to start soon. On mondays I start class at 8, and end at 6. Three whole classes. By the last class, I will be so tired that I'll stop caring. As long as I pass....
