I just had the best idea ever.
For a really long time I've been wanting to get a tattoo that has native american symbolism (I'm part native, part french) because I've already got some french on me. I was also thinking that I wanted to get an actual drawing (as in, not just something tribal, or words, or lots of black ink everywhere) outlined on my arm. I never thought to combine the two, which makes perfect sense since there are a ton of native stories about everything under the sun that require a lot of "fantasy" (I use that term loosely) and "wilderness" stuff, not to mention the fact that we have a dozen or so kids native picture books laying around complete with detailed stories. That way I can fulfill both......
I also decided to start a tattoo on my leg with the names of everyone close to me who has died/will die. Sounds kind of morbid, but I think it's a nice way to honor someone.

I drew my last tattoo... an outline of of the sun on my solar plexus.
I had a dream recently that I had a tattoo of a pair of scissors on my left wrist - like a line drawing from an old sear catalog. I am thinking of getting that.
