A trip to the dentist... I haven't been in about 10 years. MorningStar has dental insurance so we both made appointments for cleaning and checkups today. The insurance company picked a dentist close to us. We thought, well ok we'd see how we liked them and if not we'd look for another dentist.
So we get there, it's in a grubby strip mall in Hollywood. But we try not to let that influnce our opinion. I go to planned parenthood in a grubby strip mall and they are clean once you get in the door. Then the lobby is Very small and dumpy, again we don't want that to sway our opinions, but we are getting suspicious. I get called in first and go to sit down in the chair. the first thing I notice is that the spit bowl is filthy

That was it! I got up and told MorningStar we had to go and cancelled outr appointments. I did call my insurance company and reported this filthy behavior.
This really pisses me off. As a Professional Tattoo Artist I am watched carefully by the health department. Which I don't mind because I am clean and safe for myself and my clients. But I am watched carefully because the assumption by governments is that we tattoo artists are unclean. While Doctors and Dentists are assumed to be clean. most are a little dirty and this guy was a pig.

gross. But we all knew dentists were filthy and slimy creatures.

I forgot to ask: did he try to sell you lots of unnecessary and expensive things not covered by your insurance? Mine always tries to sell me anti-grinding plates and tooth whitening trays. I say pirate teeth rule . . .
