Wow busy, busy, busy.....
I was talking to a friend of mine last night and telling her how overwhelmed I have been. And I realized that I have been setting goals and reaching them. And that altho I still have a way to go I am well on my way.
I wanted to get my artwork in gallerys.. I am in several group shows a month now.
I wanted to get my art licenced... I have my work on cell phones around the world. And am working on getting a company to get my work on t shirts and distributed.
I want to be in a good tattoo shop and do more large scale tattoo and really challange myself..... I now work for Kari Barba ( an artist I looked up to when I began tattooing) and I have several sleeves and backpieces and cover ups in the works.
But all of this is very time consuming, I spend most of my "days off" from the tattoo shop, doing more work than I do in the shop: painting, working on my website, doing digital versions of my paintings and catching up on tattoo drawings. Not complaining, I just didn't realize that once I got things going it would be almost more work than getting there. Be careful what you wish for... it may be more than you could imagine.
So today MorningStar and I spent the day shopping and watched the sunset from the hills of Griffith Park in Hollywood. It was lovely, wine (in plastic cups to hide the booze) cheese, french bread and champane grapes. It was many perfect moments in a row and gave me the calm moments I have really been craving. Here are some photos
we found one spot and then from there spotted the more open spot with the better view.
