Why confused?

erg I was so flustered that I didn't even make sense in what I was saying, but I think you got the gist. I just can't believe that someone would tell me that they don't think people can do whatever they want to do, live however they want to live, basically make their own destiny... but then go ahead and say they are going to teach their kids to believe that. How are children ever supposed to believe something we tell them if we don't believe it?!
