NOTHING... that is what I did for 2 days this week. It has been way too long since I had the opportunity to do nothing at all. to just be ... A human-being instead of a human-doing..
I sat and listen to a mini waterfall for a while and thought about nothing and let my mind wander. I watched waves hit the rocks as the tide came in. I wandered around alone in the tide pools and listened to the little green crabs click their claws. As I went to my father inlaws home in La Jolla I had a ton of little things I was going to do, but I happily did none of it. I napped and rested and really let my mind wander and rest. I so needed this weekend. So I am now refreshed and hopefully I can cultivate a bit of this nothing in my life, to keep me sane.
too bad the Mr came home with a cold and I have allergies (my eye won't stop watering)
