insomnia again.. only slept 6 hours last night... But I am wide awake. Maybe I'll try to nap later.
I was up very early and again was at the zoo for the opening.. I was the first guest in today and what a lovely day at the zoo it was. I saw more zoo keepers working with the animals and even got to talk to a few and learned some new things. I even got spotted by some zoo employees that have noticed I've been around alot lately. And I spent more time with my favorite Orangatang . These zoo trips are making me feel great.
I get home before noon and have lunch, a shower, pack up the laundry and head down to the laundry room. But the lobby before you get to the laundry room has somthing (wet sand I figure out) strewn all over the floors and on the walls also a very heavy table had been overturned. This of course makes me very nervous about being alone down there... but I had to do the laundry today. So I checked if i could lock myself in if necessary( I could) and did the laundry. On my way back up I check the lobby and the front doors (which you have to be buzzed into) have several panes of glass broken and the front lobby is littered with glass. None of this was there when I returned from the zoo. Needless to say I'm a bit creeped out. I must have come down very soon after the vandalism. I am fortunate that I didn't do my laundry earlier. I just left an apartment I didn't feel safe in and was so happy for all the security that this one provides. I know no place is perfectly safe, but come on this shit is crazy. Maybe I draw it to me? Nah I don't really believe that. MorningStar thinks it's someone who got evicted..
