Richard Pryor, the groundbreaking comedian whose profanely personal insights into race relations and modern life made him one of Hollywood's biggest black stars, died of a heart attack Saturday. He was 65.

I picked up the audio-version of Margaret Cho's book to listen to on my drive home from Philly. She has a lovely segment thanking Richard Pryor for being her inspiration, and I was just thinking that I needed to go dig up some old Pryor, and now this.
