Well the spritely young lady of my previous post was not feeling up to making an appearance. That aside I had a fun time at the bar. After returning from there I made an inquiry as to her availability to seeing a concert this weekend(Chris Isaak for those who are curious). Her response, which I received before leaving work yesterday, was to tell me that she has plans with her beau already, but that she is greatly flattered by my attentions.
Ah well, I should not be surprised as Sophie is quite the lady.

Last night I spent a few hours with Rory and crew. A couple of car bombs and some shots along with wonderful company and I am smiling like nobody's business. After mentioning my conversations with Sophie and the admirable manner in which she handled my faux paus, Rory mentioned that she does set me in a higher tier than the average person.(my verbiage not his) I'm not too sure how much I believe this as we both had had few drinks by that time, but regardless, I am going to appreciate the thought and internalize it as coming from her and not just my friend's imagination.

Today though, I am sick.
I've been feeling it coming since Saturday and my excess has taken its toll. Now I have the weak tingly feeling which is usually a sign of bad things to come. So instead of writing my English paper, I am laying on my couch with Dizzy, wrapped up in a big, warm blanket and sipping tea as I watch The Young Ones..

How's that for responsibility?
