The trip down to SF with Pat was perfect with one minor exception. I tried to get in otuch with Brandie, to no avail. Regardless of that small disappointment eveyrthing went smoothly and we had a blast. Pat spent well over a bill at Amoeba alone, picking up some great records. I snagged a copy of The Nips "Only The Beginning of the End", though I don't have a player for it yet.
We also both scored great vintage suits. Pat with a sharp black pinstripe 3-piece that I would have taken had the jacket been the right size. I nabbed a beautiful late 30s, early 40s double breast in a very fetching shade of blue and with the requisite fitted waist to the jacket. There was a
crisp overcoat which I was debating as well. I decided to hold off and see if it is still there in a month when I go down to see Interpol.
We spent Sunday afternoon flying kites with the bay area's finest fliers. one can see photos taken by a good friend, John Chilese , here.
