Tonight, being Wednesday, has been the ususal Lads Night Out.
I say 'usual' in the loosest possible sense. Pre-Christmas we were out every week without fail, drinking solidly until the wee small hours and surviving on a hangover and 3 hours sleep.
Today, however, was the first real Wednesday night out I have had since the New Year and, even so, I only managed 2 bottles of Magners and a Vodka & Tia Maria. Granted I was ill for a fair part of this year but I am concerned at my sudden transformation in to a lightweight shandy drinker.
I fear the worst and is wouldn't surprise me if I wake up on my birthday to gifts of a jacket with leather patckes on the elbows and a pair of carpet slippers. Boo
Still, I am slightly merry and very chilled indeed, so it's all good.
Despite not being tagged by anyone I have decided I will do one of those 'Seven Things' thingies which are doing the rounds. Oooooh, I bet you can't wait! Let me know if there are any special requests.....
