I decided that after a lifetime of taking pictures of bands, particularly lead singers and guitarists (you can see some photos I've shot in my rock and roll album in the pics section) that I wanted to be the guy singing and playing so two years ago I started trying to play guitar and sing. I'm not really into singing folk songs by myself at open mics so I formed a band after a year and we played our first gig (my first ever) last September for my birthday. This year we're gonna play again for my birthday, but we've done 10 or 11 gigs since then. It's kinda embarrassing forgetting words in songs but since I've started singing I've realized that many of my heroes forget the words to their own, original iconic songs they're famous for sometimes.

Done about 45 gigs now; it's starting to seem like a real thing. Opened for a sort of famous, international gigging band and did our first out-of-town show. Making some money playing. This is really fun.
