ahh, my travels are are coming to an end. only one more destination. i'm in the beautiful city of angles anxiously awaiting this evenings burlesque show. was fortunate to see the show in san francisco. it was hot like pants on fire hot.

got a drunken call from a friend in d.c. a couple days ago. she was wondering if i enjoyed my last visit with her when she was still in nyc. i'm not one that shows too much external emotion so sometimes it's hard for folks to guage whether i'm have a good (or bad) time, even for a girl who has known me for 12 years.

of course nyc is always a good time as is vegas, san francisco, los angeles and san diego (my final destination). but that isn't really the point. the location is of very little importance. i wouldn't visit any of these places were my great friends not there (well, except vegas). what i mean is that i could be stuck in the middle of siberia with a group of my close friends and i would be happy. beside my family, my friends are the most important element of my life. over the years i've been very fortunate and have been able to befriend some of the most lovely, funny and smart people i've yet to come across.

i love them dearly. i'm sure i don't tell them that often enough but i would like to think i demonstrate myadoration frequently.

if you are bored and not doing anything important at the moment (clearly you're not if you're reading this) go contact a good friend you haven't contacted in a while. call, email, send a carrier pigeon, whatever. it's sure to make your day.

update: just got back form the l.a. show. greatest show i've ever been to. there were so many of my favorite girls there it was like sg heaven. i was a big dork and shook some hands but i'm never cool and calm around any hot girls much less suicidegirls. jeez, it was just great!
