To these wonderful people who took the time to send their condolences, I want to thank you, at a time like this; I hardly know how to feel let alone what to say.
All that remains are the memories of my good friend the Belgian hard man walking his daughter Charlotte {who looks like the actress who played Amilie at 5 years old} to the corner store her waving bye, happily bouncing along holding Stephans hand, I will never see that again, and it tears me up knowing that. Im angry, I cant help these emotions, I want to hurt something to feel a little better and that will not do. So I guess this is my cathartic release, tell anyone that will listen, that I miss my mate, and the laughs in the shop, with everyone talking trash to the buzz of the tattoo machine, drinking espresso and watching the hot little hairdressers and college students go by, dirty old men that we are. Knowing that our days of charming them are long gone, but reveling in the fantasy that we still had it. Somehow this quote surmises how I feel at the moment:
