well its been a while. for a brief stint there, i thought i had found the one. someone so like me and so in tune id didnt think there could be anyone more perfect. and as we grew closer and closer, i thought i might finally find happiness. until her past came up and stole her away from me. i cant blame her. if parts of my past came back suddenly things might be very different. so i let her go and swam on. and in doing so ive met someone pretty amazing. im not yet sure were things are going but shes everything i could ask for in a partner. shes caring and sweethearted, cute and funny, spirited and fierce. shes smart and driven and everything any guy should be so lucky as to have. but to avoid past heart breaks, im going to take things one step at a time and see what life has in plan for me. ive been dealt a new hand, and its time to play it out and see who comes out on top. i see your bet, universe, and i raise the stakes. lets see if i have what it takes to go all in again and walk away a winner this time
