I quit the restaurant yesterday. It was fairly uneventful and left on good terms. It had been brought to my attention that people in my business may not have been taking me seriously because I worked another job, and they might have been right. My phone began ringing almost immediately. I booked almost three more days in the coming week and maybe most of December as well. Made some new clients and am working on some shooting jobs since it appears there is a creative shelf life for photo assistants, the ones I've met at least, before they want to move onto something else. It took me almost two years here but I feel like I'm finally starting to find my place and groove.
