What can I say about last year. I think it was a lot of ups and downs. A lot of screaming and yelling and I don't mean the good kind. This pandemic has made me lose some people that were close to me due to irreconcilable differences and the lack of basic understnading of science based medicine. I will go on record, I don't have a grasp on the subject, but I do trust the people that have done the work in their field to gain knowledge, not the people that couldn't grow a lima bean in high school science class.

I lost a good friend to Covid. She gave a good fight, but her lungs gave out after six weeks. There was someone I really liked and I screwed that up royally. "Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned" as the saying goes. I wish her well, but there isn't much hope in fixing that bridge.

I became an uncle for the second time. I do like my nephew and he's starting to get a bit a personality. For now, I want him to be a happy little baby. I went on a trip with some friends to check out Andy Warhol's work in Toronto. It was an amazing experience to see his work. I'm just happy to have that chance to see it when I did. As far as the dating thing goes still none existent, I know there is a woman in an open relationship wanting to meetup, but work, travel, and various creative projects sometimes make it difficult. There is another woman I've become quite close as of late, I would like to make it work out if that's possible.

Side Hustles have been pretty good, but not enough to leave the day jobm but for now keep plugging away at it. I had a Covid scare at the end of the year and I had to isolate for ten days as a precaution. I was drinking shots of hot sauce to make sure I didn't lose my sense of taste.

As far as goals go for this new year, pay down bills and debt, I hope I can travel if that's possible. Maybe find that companionship everyone is looking for, work on getting out of debt and keep at it with my goal to win the iPhone Photography awards. Also continue with other creative pursuits.

which hot sauce?  there's a pretty big range, and some i use (ghost peppers) would kill my tastebuds and maybe me as well if i did shots of them!  ... i was just watching a documentary of the Velvet Underground with a younger friend, talking about my fascination with Warhol's factory back in the day - I started reading about it in 1962 when I was 13 (really) and when VU released their album the same time as the Mothers of Invention something deep in me relaxed--as these were the years of nothing but AM radio pop and while that can be okay in very small doses, there's nothing like Sister Ray or watching the films of Warhol at work (he was actually dead serious and very meticulous)--that shit has always been a "basic food group" for me.  so glad to see a few folk are still interested in and perhaps appreciative of his work!

This was the collection of hot sauces I was trying. https://thoughtfully.com/products/wild-bunch-hot-sauce-set-4pk As far as the exhibit goes, this was a dream for me to see his work. The only other time I can recall seeing something from him was a visit I made to the National Art Gallery in Ottawa more than ten years ago. I really do wish there was a place like the factory, but I don’t know if such a place even going on at this moment. The exhibit was well received when I went to Toronto. I just wished it longer.
