I still don't want kids. Enough Already!

It seems like since my brother and sister-in-law are having their first kid and my parents are excited that they're expecting their first grandchild. I've been getting asked if I'm going to change my mind on wanting children. The answer is still no. If it hasn't happened in the last 20 or so years, I just don't foresee it happening soon ever.

I got really angry last year at one of my friends one night over coffee when I told him I don't want children. He said that I might change my mind. I proceeded to send him over a 150 video links of vasectomies to his cell phone. I almost crashed my iPhone X which was quite an impressive feat since I thought that was impossible to do on a newer cellular device.

I told a client at a department store that I work in that I'm going to be a first-time uncle, but I'm just honestly not looking forward to it. I also told him children aren't in my future. He does respect my decision but he did say I might change my mind in the future. That's some sort of comfort.

My parents also know I have no intention of providing them with grandchildren. My parents and family are okay with that. My coworkers are alright with my decision. I have told people that I like kids, but I just don't want them. My friends have respected my decision on the matter.

I'm looking at retiring my swim team for good with getting a vasectomy, but why do people that don't want kids keep getting stigmatized? This shit is getting ridiculous. We made a decision with our lives and I feel it should be celebrated in the same manner that expecting parents are usually accustomed to when they're expecting a bundle of joy.

This isn't a threat to anyone's way of life. We made a decision that's making us happy with our lives. We just want to be childfree and live our best life how we see fit.
