bodyworlds sounds very interesting. i fucking loved this exhibit they had at the whitney a few years ago-- the american effect. it included at least a dozen life-size wax figures of aging superheroes snoozing and ailing in a nursing home, in Nursing Home" by Gilles Barbie. wonder woman was hooked up to an IV, cat woman was drooling in her chair. good stuff.

stretching feels so good. i used to have a stretching regimen i did everyday just for the sheer pleasure of feeling my muscles taut, but i've grown apathetic.

I wish you could live vicariously through me for real...just take ALL the PAIN AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Just kidding...well kinda, i really do want the pain to die. Pain killers kind of sort of work for now. I am going to go out with the boy tomorrow. We are going to see my new (as in since yesterday) favorite band play. I am so so so excited! I am going to get overdressed so I feel pretty. I feel very mortal now, due to my situation. I figure I should seize the day, CARPE DIEM! As a result I am going to wear a strapless black sparkly dress with a red feather boa and red stillettoes. I've had the dress since I was 16, I have worn it, like a million times. It is a classic! God, I am such a dork. With red lipstick. The guy is going to die! Hm, maybe I should wear something else... Okay, right anyway I am thrilled. I think I am getting used to the pain, kind of. I am learning to deal with it so I am not pissed off about it all the time. It's hard. It's frustrating when you want to act young, but need to be in bed instead. How's Jack???

as for your story about your ex-wife, wow. that is bizarre and sad. do you have any mutual friends you can contact? if not, at least you can be content knowing she is happy, which is what is important.

i am located in "hollywood north." and i think you are absolutely right, about what you said about who you know and who you blow. it is that concept that has given me confidence, as it has been people i've met socially at bars and parties that have basically been offering me work, which i don't quite have the skills for, yet. they have all turned out to be producers and such, and we have become quite good friends. i'm hoping my networking abilities, once i've acquired some skills, will allow me some chances.

Yeah, I'm doing mostly better. I still have not managed to go a day without crying. But that's mostly residual dopey girl retardation. And I've talked to the stupid boy a few times (just normal, friend-like conversations) and that's actually helped.
