I spent an hour and a half this morning at the shop of a client of mine who I'll be shooting for next week. Not only do they have a clothing line but they build very high end motorcycles. i stood around and talked to the owner as he excitedly went on and on about how exciting the new bike is, racing, and either pro wrestling or ultimate fighting. I should say he talked and every now and then I injected 'nice', 'hot' or 'dude'. Sometimes I just grunted. I don't know anything about any of that. Hopefully he didn't catch on that I was totally clueless, I want to shoot that job and make that money.
I've got a very gay neighbor who, when surrounded by straight men who are oblivious to his orientation, begins to scratch his balls, pick his ear and occasionally spit. He claims that's what straight guys do when you talk to him but he still looks very out of place.
Hopefully I didn't look that uncomfortable this morning.
He also mentioned something about me signing a non-disclosure agreement. Everything he told me I forgot the second it hit my eardrum, I was epically distracted by the girl who works there who was busy unpacking boxes. We all have our priorities I suppose.
